# moderation

> Reference for the moderation tool of Community: reports, hide, lock, pin, slow mode and closing channels, with every action.

For moderators and admins only; anyone else is refused. It works on the reports and on the state of posts and channels.

Call it as `geenius_community(tool: "moderation", action: "<action>", args: {...})` through Geenius OS.

## Actions

| Action | What it does |
|---|---|
| `close_channel` | Closes a channel: no new posts. |
| `hide` | Hides a post or reply. The author is told, and a hidden message stays visible to its author with the reason. |
| `lock` | Locks a post: no new replies. |
| `open_channel` | Opens a closed channel again. |
| `pin` | Pins a post. |
| `queue` | Open reports gathered per post or reply, oldest first, plus recently hidden posts. |
| `resolve` | Settles every open report on a post or reply: outcome hide or dismiss. |
| `slow_mode` | Sets a channel's slow mode: one message per member per interval, in seconds; 0 is off. |
| `unhide` | Shows a hidden post or reply again. |
| `unlock` | Unlocks a post. |
| `unpin` | Unpins a post. |
